Prof. I. M. Mishra
( IIT Roorkee)

Prof. Indra Mani Mishra is an academic researcher from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. He is Ex Director Central Pulp & Research Institute, IIT (ISM ) Dhanbad.As a researcher and academician, he has contributed to research in topicssuch as Chemical energy, Environmental energy, Coal gasification, coal to chemicals, biomass energy, etc. He has an h-index of 65 and co-authored more than 200 research publications.

Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava  is currently serving as Dean of International Relations and Institute Chair Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India. Previously, he headed the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Roorkee.His major research interests are in Chemical & Environmental Engg., Wastewater Treatment, Alternative Fuels, Desulfurization, Solid waste management, etc.He was awarded the prestigious International award “Prosper.Net-Scopus Young Researcher Award 2010 – First Runner-up Prize” held at Tongji University, Shanghai, China, on 5 July 2010. This award is sponsored by SCOPUS, United Nations University and the International Bureau of BMBF, Germany.

Prof. Anurag Garg
(IIT Bombay)

Dr. Anurag Garg is a Professor in Environmental Science and Engineering Department at IIT Bombay, Mumbai. His main research interests are solid waste management, wastewater treatment and energy from waste.He has been recently received prestigious “Prof. S.P. Sukhatme Award for Excellence in Teaching – 2020” at IIT Bombay. He is working on various treatment processes for municipal solid waste management including composting, hydrothermal pretreatment and energy from waste. Prof. Garg is serving as a member on several technical committees formed by different state and central government departments. He is involved in collaborations with several foreign universities in UK, South Africa, Austria, Canada, Sweden and United States. He was also nominated for INSA-Royal Society of Edinburg (RSE) Bilateral Exchange Programme for Scientists.Prof. Garg has around 150 publications in reputed International and National journals, Conference proceedings and books.

Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig holds the position of Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board at Patiala, Punjab. He was also appointed as an independent Director in HLL Lifecare Ltd. on 3rdJanuary 2022. Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig is a renowned environmentalist, able administrator cum organizer, Professor and former Head, Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar and President, Vigyan Parishad Panchnad-VPP (Vijnanabharati or vibha, a science movement with swadeshi spirit. He is working as a Professor in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in Punjab.Dr. Vig has teaching and research experience of more than 27 years, about 163 publications in National/International journals with a h-index of 37.

Prof. Ajay Kalamdhad
(IIT Guwahati)

Prof. Ajay Kalamdhad is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He received his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the year of 2008 and started working as a Lecturer in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology from September 2008. He joined Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in June 2009 as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include Solid waste management, Mechanical composting and vermicomposting, Anaerobic digestion, Analysis of solid wastes, Microbiology of composting, Biosorption and Water & Wastewater Treatment. He has published numerous papers in various reputed journals. He is also the head of Waste Management Research Group (WMRG), a group that focuses on the biological treatment of various wastes.

Dr. Sunil Kumar is a Senior Researcher-cum-Professor with more than 23years of experience in leading, supervising and undertaking research in the broader field of Environmental Engineering and Science with focus on Solid and Hazardous Waste Management. Dr. Kumar is a graduate in Environmental Engineering and Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. His primary area of expertise is in Environmental Engineering with focus on solid waste managementover a wide range of environmental topics including EIA and wastewater treatment.

Dr. Kumar was also awarded with the most prestigious award Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung Jean-Paul-Str.12 D-53173 Bonn, Germany as a Senior Researcher for developing a Global Network and Excellence for more advanced research and technology innovation. In 2022, Dr. Kumar was also awarded Envirocare Green Awards in 2022. Dr. Kumar is also appointed as the Honorary Adjunct Professors at National Institute of Technology, Itanagar, Aruchal Pradesh, NIT Delhi and Adjunct Senior Researcher at Tasmania University, Australia. Dr. Kumar has guided 13 Ph.D. and 8 students are currently pursuing Ph.D.

Prof.Sunil Kumar

Dr. Sri Harsha Kota is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi.He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from CBIT, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 2007. He received his Master of Science and Doctoral degrees from Texas A&M University, College Station, USA.He worked as an Assistant Professor in IIT Guwahati for more than three years, till he joined IIT Delhi in May 2018. His main area of research is air quality management, environmental engineering, data science, and programming. He has published about 115 publications in National/International journals with h-index of 31.
